    Resources for Women in Production

My business blog is full of all kinds of thoughts and winding rants and occasionally awesome resources aimed at women who are part of startups, want to work for one or who just love video. This week, I’m writing about some of the resources that helped me launch Mighteor, and others that still inspire me every week.

The infographic above gives you a quick look at some of the things I’d recommend, but go check out the whole list here. I’m going to add a couple exclusives on the Being Geek Chic side, specifically a few blogs that you may want to add to your favorite feed service:

    BOOKMARK:

IndieWire’s Women and Hollywood Blog: This is definitely a strict news blog, but it will keep you in the loop on how many women are being nominated for the big awards and catalogues important statistics about women’s roles and work in Hollywood.

No Film School’s V. Renée Blog Posts: This blog is generally pretty awesome, but I love the personality of this particular writer. She doesn’t just keep tuned to film news, but occasionally posts about film resources.

Ms. In the Biz: While this blog is now a book, I still recommend the blog more often than the book, because it shares great tips and stories from real women every week and the organization of the site means you can find all kinds of great resources quickly and easily.

Where do you find great resources? Where do you tell fellow women to go for help? We want to hear from you!
